CIMC Vehicles (Shandong) Co., Ltd invested by CIMC Vehicles is originally Jinan CIMC-koegel Special Automobile Co., Ltd (hereafter called Shandong CIMC). It is also a backbone enterprise to produce various special trucks in Northern China. This company has occupied an area of 350,000m3 production base and has first-class new style equipments for special vehicles.

        As the predecessor of CIMC Vehicles (Shandong) Co., Ltd, Jinan Vehicles Refitting Factory established in 1958 was one of the earliest companies for special vehicles with the long development history and abundant strength. In 1993, and Jinan Vehicles Refitting Factory established a joint venture. In 2003 CIMC Vehicles purchased Jinan CIMC-koegel Special Automobile Co., Ltd. In 2004 CIMC expropriated 34 hectares in Mingshui Economic Developing Zone of Jinan and invested hundred million yuan to build CIMC Industry Zone. In 2005 the company was officially named as CIMC Vehicles (Shandong) Co., Ltd. According to strategic planning of CIMC, Shandong CIMC will reach a throughput of 30,000 units a year and become the biggest production base in North China.

        Tanker Truck has been a mature product of Shandong CIMC and has more than 30 years’ production experience. At the beginning of 1980s, Shandong CIMC had been the fixed manufacturing enterprise.

        On the basis of importing, absorbing German Koegel technology, Shandong CIMC has created and developed the technology of all closed sandwich panels with “wet-wet” method, fiber glass box as green environment-protection body, swap body, etc. Many products and technologies have gained the country’s patent. And all above mentioned has gained the products an international level and a leading position in China.

        In 2003 Shandong CIMC entered the market of refitting tippers, and then it has established a strategy cooperation with CNHTC, VOLVO, ShanQi, FAW, DFM and so on. Tippers produced by Shandong CIMC have been exported to Russia, Central Asia, Southeast Asia, etc. In 2006 the company carried out reforming production-line to build the first-class Dump truck refitting production-line, painting-line and technological equipment in China.

        Today Shandong CIMC has produced 6 series more than 150 models to suit for various special products from 0.5-40 tons - tipper Series, Semi-trailer Series, Box Series, Tanker Series, Special Truck Series and Army Truck Series, etc, among which, the emergency telecommunication trucks have been widely used by China Mobile, and China Union.

        Shandong CIMC has achieved the ISO9001 Quality System Certificate, the 14001 Environment Management System Certification and CCC Certification System issued by CQC and War Industry Quality System by the Chinese People’s Liberation Army. Our main customer includes Sinohydro Engineering Bureau 3, Sinohydro Engineering Bureau 4, Sinohydro Engineering Bureau 5, Sinohydro Engineering Bureau 8, China Railway Bureau 13, China Railway Bureau 14, China Railway Bureau 15, China Railway Tunnel, China Petroleum, China Chemical, China Mobile, China Union, China Post, Hair, Nestle, Wall’s, McDonald’s, KFC, etc. Our products have been exported to Russia, Sudan, Vietnam, DPRA, Algeria, Kazakhstan, etc.
